1985 Dervieux-Thaize “La Garde” Côte-Rôtie

Like the ’88, the nose is high-toned and gamy. Unlike the ’88, it actually tastes good, smooth and soft. Fully mature, maybe a couple of years over the peak, but eminently drinkable and complex. Larry Curly.
