1976 Grand-Pontet (St-Emilion)

OK, no irrelevant story here. Just an observation. Fine wine lovers have a generosity that surpasseth all understanding. I’ve been the happy recipient (and often the donor of) of some terrific send-over wines. You know, you’re at a restaurant, you see a group of people a few tables over with some terrific bottles and high spirits. You of course send over a pour or three of your treasure and strike up a conversation with that group when they come over to thank you and to invite you to have some of theirs. My public thanks to the stranger at the next table who sent over this perfumy, delicate, and graceful St-Emilion.
